Manazir joins the SMILE (Sustainability in the Middle East) Summer School at the University of Bern

We’re thrilled to announce that Manazir is one of the organizing partners of the SMILE (Sustainability in the Middle East) Summer School, taking place from September 1-5, 2025 in Bern!
This intensive 5-day transdisciplinary program offers advanced bachelor and master students a unique opportunity to explore pressing sustainability challenges in the Middle East region. Led by renowned experts from the Universities of Bern, Ghent, and Göttingen, participants will dive deep into critical areas, such as Education & Digitalization, Social Inequalities, and Environmental Challenges.
What makes SMILE special? Students from diverse academic backgrounds (Middle Eastern Studies, Anthropology, Geography, History) will collaborate on challenge-based projects, developing innovative approaches to real-world sustainability problems while building a truly interdisciplinary learning community.
