Prize for Research in Art History and Archaeology of Islamic Worlds
The French Committee for Art History (CFHA) and Fondation Inalco are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the RAAMI Prize (Prix RAAMI de la Recherche en histoire de l'Art et Archéologie des Mondes de l'Islam).
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding doctoral research in the field of art history and archaeology of Islamic worlds, celebrating scholarly excellence and innovative contributions to the discipline.
The RAAMI Prize aims to promote and recognize exceptional research in art history and archaeology of Islamic worlds. This award supports early-career scholars and contributes to advancing knowledge and cross-cultural understanding in this vital field of study.
Eligibility Requirements
PhD candidates and recent graduates are eligible if they meet the following criteria:
- Thesis defended between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025
- Thesis defended at a French institution, or conducted in co-supervision (cotutelle) with a French institution
